MELODY is a H2020 funded project aiming to develop a low-cost, high efficiency membrane-free redox flow battery system, using hydrogen and bromine redox couples.
The Project
MELODY is a H2020 funded project which brings together eight partners from five countries to carry out research which aims to support European Union efforts to enable storage which is sustainable in terms of the environment, access to material and cost.
Technology
MELODY employs a unique triple cost reduction strategy to build on the conventional Redox Flow Battery (RFB) concept while tackling all major technical issues in an integrated manner.
Publications
Deliverables from the MELODY project are due for delivery from April 2021.
